We need your support to continue our work on these projects. A regular donation is one of the best ways you can help us achieve our long-term goals. We thank you for any support that you are able to give.
RAVEN T-SHIRTS, PINS, WATER BOTTLES AND PENS

You too can be the proud owner of one of our new t-shirts. We also have eco-pens, stainless steel water bottles and elegant pins with just the RAVEN logo. Our "Swag Shop" is online! All the funds raised help to cover RAVEN's operating costs. Since all our grants and donations go directly to help the projects, we are now in need of raising some funds to assist with our capacity. Please consider these as a way to look good and do good at the same time. Always good for special occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, winter holidays, getting good grades, remembering to feed the dog and getting the best score at Yahtzee. Okay, well, maybe not feeding the dog.

RAVEN is growing by leaps and bounds, and the 'likes' are starting to add up. So we could really use the help of a socially savvy communicator who gets the need to be out there with engaging social media content, how it builds relationships and grows a support base. We want someone who can engage the 'slacktivists', motivate the advocates, and help us to amplify our voice in the Twitterverse!

• Leverage social networks to increase the number of impressions on potential donors.
• Utilize blogging, social networking, and backlink building to raise our web presence and placement on web searches.
Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the executive director and secondarily to the development director.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Hootsuite
• Understanding of the internet and social media marketing best practices
• Fearless attitude towards technology and a willingness to learn
This may become a paid position in the future, but currently is a volunteer/internship that can work within educational systems for credit. Please contact Susan at 250.383.2331 or send an email for more info.
How about hosting an investors' dinner?
We've taken the plunge into a new way for supporters to invest in our work. RAVEN now has a no-fee account with Edward Jones (and it behooves us to note that our investment advisor is waiving all his fees too). The account can hold securities from both Canada and the U.S. – and it allows investors who may need a tax-incentive to make a contribution that is win-win for RAVEN and them - charitable giving while helping support our work to assist First Nations and save the planet. There are many ways it can work – for examples or advice you can call our advisor. This is where the dinner comes in. It might be easier to explain over a dinner meeting for investors who might be interested in hearing more. If you would be willing to host it, we'll cover the costs! Well, not US exactly. But we have some cool donors who would pitch in. In the meantime; potential donors who are interested or have questions can call RAVEN’s investment representative Ali Nozari at 250.544.4939. Or email at ali.nozari@edwardjones.com.
