B.C.'s plan - which includes a costly redesign in the wake of serious geological problems with the dam's unstable foundations  - is being carried out despite violations to Indigenous treaty rights that West Moberly Nation must now go to court to see honoured.

This is outrageous.

Study after study has recommended that the government cut its losses and scrap Site C in favour of cheaper, safer and greener options such as wind, solar and geothermal. But recommendations, lobbying and protest have fallen on deaf ears.
