October 13-17, Heiltsuk Nation raised the first Big House to be built on the central coast of B.C. in 150 years. To celebrate, RAVEN has joined forces with our amazing community to try to raise $10k for the legal challenge that, though launched in the wake of the Nathan E. Stewart disaster, stands to strengthen Heiltsuk sovereignty and establish a legal precedent — that of aboriginal title to the seabed and foreshore.
