In summer 2017, BC granted a controversial drilling permit at Teẑtan Biny (Fish Lake) for Taseko Mines Ltd.’s New Prosperity Mine, which was twice-rejected by the Government of Canada and cannot be lawfully built as matters stand. The Tsilhqot’in Nation continues to challenge this effort and will be back in court on Friday, March 22nd, seeking an injunction. We call on all supporters to stand with the Tsilhqot’in at this critical time.
