We hear so often about “Missing and Murdered Indigenosu Women and Girls”. Behind that grim descriptor are people’s lives: in remembering, it is so important to say their names, and remember their stories. You are being welcomed to offer support by listening deeply to survivors from Wet’suwet’en Nation, who will be honouring their stolen mothers, daughters, cousins and relatives – the human beings at the heart of the current legal challenge before the B.C. Supreme Court.

Join a powerful event that will name and honour 30 Indigenous women lost to colonial violence on Wet’suwet’en territory. Offer the matriarchs who are holding their community together your care, support, and encouragement as they courageously lead their people through a struggle for justice that is hugely costly on an emotional and physical level. You’ll also hear from DJ Larkin, legal counsel for Wet’suwet’en, who will illuminate highlights from the 3-day court hearing which examined the failure of B.C. to enact recommendations of the Inquiry on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
