Here at RAVEN (Respecting Aboriginal Values and Environmental Needs) we’ve had some incredible victories. For years we’ve been urging people to support our strategic campaigns to provide access to justice for Indigenous Peoples. Word is getting out: we’ve raised millions of dollars for game-changing court challenges, quashed TWO pipelines — Enbridge Northern Gateway and Kinder Morgan’s TMX — in the courts, and are building power to curtail tar sands expansion, stop open pit mining in Indigenous territories AND defend wild and sacred places for future generations.
That’s some serious impact for an organization that runs on a shoestring with a tiny (but mighty!) team. Most of our victories have been achieved because passionate movement insiders like you have hollered from the rooftops on behalf of the Indigenous Nations we support.
Now, with an ambitious five year plan and commitments to carry through cases all the way to the Supreme Court, we want to assemble a crack team of RAVEN AMPLIFIERS, equip them with amazing, beautiful graphics, videos and stories, and take our message global.
