That’s why RAVEN has been working for two years to develop Home on Native Land, a self-guided, 10-lesson online course that makes learning about Indigenous laws and Canadian law accessible and… fun! 

Yep, you read that right. Honestly: some of the inequities baked into the laws of this land are so ridiculous, if you didn’t laugh, you’d cry. In this lighthearted-but-super-serious series, Anishinaabe comedian Ryan McMahon hosts dialogues with wickedly smart Indigenous lawyers, scholars and leaders. The videos are paired with clever, sassy cartoons that sharply illustrate some of the absurdities — and opportunities — that exist within Canadian and Indigenous law.
