Give $100, get “What on Earth” from Luke Wallace
Luke Wallace embodies a new wave of politically charged folk music, writing the soundtrack for a movement of people rising up to meet the social and environmental challenges of our times. In that spirit, he’s releasing his new album “What on Earth”, with proceeds going to RAVEN!
Right now, if you give $100 or more to RAVEN’s Wet’suwet’en campaign, Luke will gift you a copy of his 5th album. Laced with banjo and vocal harmonies, the album centres his soulful songwriting, with lyrics infused with hope and reverence for the natural world. You can find Luke at folk festivals all over the West Coast or leading rally-sing-a-longs at Canada’s biggest Youth Climate Marches. Known for his catchy songwriting and inspiring musical delivery, Luke continues using his music to amp up and inspire the folks fighting for a better world. His message-driven songwriting has landed him slots at Salmon Arm Roots and Blues, Vancouver Island Music Festival, The Vancouver Folk Festival and an opening slot for global roots band Rising Appalachia.

Luke says, “It’s been a real honour and privilege to grow up along the shores of the Salish Sea, on unceded Coast Salish Territory. The land here has inspired every song I’ve ever written and has taught me so much about what it means to be human and to be alive. Far from perfect, I’m doing my best to listen and feel the words and ideas of the Indigenous people whose ancestors have lived on these lands for a very long. It’s been incredibly inspiring watching the Indigenous Youth lead the Wet’suwet’en support movement in Victoria. I’m hoping these concerts will be opportunities for the different communities that I’m traveling to to come together in celebration and support of the Wet’suwet’en and their right to self governance.”
