Kamloops to host Chief Roland Willson May 14th
Join the gathering and show your support for protecting the Peace and First Nations as they work to preserve the opportunity to carry out their guaranteed treaty rights in the Peace River Valley.
The B.C. and federal governments are pushing ahead with the Site C dam even though their own review panel found that it would cause unmitigable impacts to the First Nations and negative impacts to the Peace Valley region as a whole. Treaty 8 First Nations and Peace Valley landowners are standing up in court for human rights, cultural survival and protection of farmland.
Join us for this Kamloops based event, featuring Chief Roland Willson of the West Moberly First Nation.
When: Thursday, May 14, 2015: 7 pm at Irving K. Barber Center, Brown Family House of Learning Building, Thompson Rivers University.
