It’s been an amazing year of stretching our wings. As we look back at a wild 2023, we’re  filled with gratitude as we reflect on the legal precedents we’ve set, new legal challenges launched, and bold alliances forged.

This year, we’ve rallied on the court steps in support of Gitxaała Nation,  paddled up to a floating stage to protect the ocean with Heiltsuk Nation, and committed to uncovering the ugly truths about the origins of the laws that govern Canada through Home on Native Land.

Because of you, we know we’re making major, systemic changes to a system that for too long has run roughshod over Indigenous rights. These generational shifts can be hard to quantify, but  — we’ve got the numbers to prove just how much we’ve achieved together.

Because of your steadfast support, we’ve raised more in 2023 than ever before, enabling RAVEN to support Indigenous Nations who are in court to protect land, air and water.
