UBC Environmental Law Group turns rags to riches with giant clothing swap/sale!

UBC’s Environmental Law Group found an original way to support Pull Together. They held a clothing, footwear and accessories sale. Such an easy way to pull together friends, recycle those unwanted items and turn spring cleaning into cash.

Organizers say, “Together we raised $1,123 for RAVEN Trust’s Pull Together campaign! Thank you so much for donating, shopping, and helping out in so many different ways!”

Way to go UBC for taking action for Indigenous rights, while working to slow clothing and consumption and waste!! Double win for people and planet.

p.s. if you want to contribute further to Tsleil-Waututh First Nation and Coldwater First Nation’s legal challenges to the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion, here are a few ideas:

– drink craft beer at Pints Not Pipelines!
– perform or appreciate art at Climate Coffee House (on campus)
– donate directly at https://fundraise.raventrust.com/team/109953
